These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") set out the basis on which
[Anthony Animates] ("I", "me", "my") provide video production and related services
to veterinary clinics and other clients ("you", "your").
By booking a project, approving a proposal, paying an invoice or using my services in any way,
you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Definitions
In these Terms:
"Services" means the video and related services I provide, including but not limited to:
strategy calls, scripting, storyboarding, video production, editing, short-form social clips, thumbnails
and content planning.
"Deliverables" means the final video files and any associated assets (e.g. thumbnails, captions)
supplied to you.
"Project" means the agreed scope of work as described in my proposal, email confirmation or invoice.
"Package" means one of the standard offerings listed on my website
(e.g. Starter Explainer, Growth Video Package, Vet Video Campaign).
"Intellectual Property Rights" means all copyrights, design rights, trademarks and other
rights in the Deliverables and Services.
2. Services Offered

Script, storyboard & content plan
3 rounds of revisions across the project
Simple content calendar for 2–3 months
Any additional or customised services will be agreed in writing.
3. Booking, Proposals & Acceptance
After an initial discovery or strategy call, I will usually send you a written proposal and/or email summary
outlining the scope, price and key terms.
A Project is considered confirmed when you approve the proposal in writing (including by email) and/or
pay the required deposit or invoice.
I reserve the right to decline a Project at my discretion (for example, if the scope is unclear, timelines
are unrealistic, or there is a conflict of interest).
4. Fees, Deposits & Payment
Prices for standard Packages are shown on my website and/or in your proposal. Any additional work will be
quoted separately.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing:
A 50% non-refundable deposit is payable to secure your Project and reserve time in my schedule.
The remaining 50% balance is payable on delivery of the first full draft of the main video(s), and before final Deliverables are released.
All prices are in GBP (£) and exclusive of VAT unless clearly stated otherwise.
Payment terms are 7 days from the invoice date, unless agreed otherwise in writing.
I may pause work and/or withhold delivery of files if invoices are overdue.
Any bank charges or transfer fees are your responsibility.
5. Scope, Changes & Additional Work
Each Package includes a defined scope (number/length of videos, number of clips, rounds of revisions).
This will be confirmed in your proposal or booking email.
Minor changes within the agreed revision rounds are included (see Section 6).
Additional work outside the agreed scope – for example extra videos, extra clips, major script rewrites
after approval, or additional revision rounds – will be quoted and charged separately.
If your brief or circumstances change significantly after the Project has started, I may need to revise
the price and timeline by mutual agreement.
6. Revisions
Each Package includes a set number of revision rounds as described on my website and in your proposal:
Starter Explainer: 1 round of revisions
Growth Video Package: 2 rounds of revisions
Vet Video Campaign: 3 rounds of revisions across the Project
A “revision round” means a single, consolidated list of changes to the drafts supplied at that stage.
You agree to nominate one main contact person to collate feedback and provide clear, written notes within
7 days of receiving a draft, unless we agree otherwise.
Revisions are intended to refine the agreed concept and script, not to completely change direction.
Major changes to the concept, structure or style after approval may be treated as additional work.
7. Client Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
Timely information – providing accurate and complete information about your clinic, services,
policies and any legal/compliance requirements.
Clinical accuracy – I am not a vet and do not provide medical advice. You are solely
responsible for checking and approving all clinical, medical and regulatory content in scripts and videos
before they are used.
Approvals & feedback – reviewing and approving scripts, storyboards and draft videos
promptly so the Project can stay on schedule.
Third-party materials – supplying any logos, brand assets, photos, video clips or music
you provide with the necessary permissions and licences. You warrant that you have the right to use and
share them with me.
Use of Deliverables – using the Deliverables in a lawful and responsible way, in line with
any usage licences granted (see Section 9).
8. Timescales & Delivery
Any timelines or delivery dates discussed are estimates, not guarantees. Actual delivery will depend on how quickly you provide information and feedback, any changes to scope, and my current workload and circumstances.
As a general guide (once the deposit, onboarding form and initial call are complete):
Starter Explainer: typically 2–3 weeks
Growth Video Package: typically 3–4 weeks
Vet Video Campaign: typically 4–6+ weeks
I will keep you informed of progress and let you know if any significant delays arise.
Deliverables are supplied digitally (e.g. via download link, shared folder or similar). Once delivered,
you are responsible for downloading, backing up and safely storing all files.
9. Intellectual Property & Licence
Ownership before payment – until all fees for the Project have been paid in full, I retain
full ownership of all Intellectual Property Rights in the Deliverables, drafts, scripts and project files.
You are granted no rights to use, publish or distribute the Deliverables.
Licence on full payment – once all fees have been paid in full, and subject to these Terms,
I grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the final Deliverables:
On your own website(s)
On your social media channels
In your email marketing
On in-practice screens
In your own digital advertising campaigns
solely for the promotion of your own clinic or practice group.
You may not sell, sub-license or give the Deliverables to third parties for their own marketing without my
written permission, or claim authorship of the videos.
Project files (working files, raw footage, editable project files) remain my property unless otherwise agreed
in writing. Additional fees may apply if you require project files.
10. Portfolio Use & Credit
You grant me permission to display the Deliverables and screenshots on my website, social media and portfolio,
and to refer to your clinic name and use your logo in my marketing materials, strictly for the purpose of
promoting my services.
If there are any confidentiality or timing issues (e.g. embargoed campaigns), please let me know in writing
so I can delay or limit portfolio use.
Where appropriate, I may request or include a credit line such as “Video by Anthony Animates” in descriptions
or end cards; this will be discussed and agreed with you.
11. Confidentiality
I will treat all non-public information you share with me as confidential and will not disclose it to third
parties except as necessary to deliver the Services or where required by law.
This does not apply to information which is or becomes publicly available through no fault of mine, I already
lawfully hold, or is independently developed without reference to your confidential information.
12. Data Protection
I will handle any personal data in accordance with applicable UK data protection law.
For most Projects, I act as an independent controller of the contact data you provide (e.g. staff contact
details), solely for the purpose of managing and delivering the Project.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to share any personal data (e.g. staff images, client case
studies) used in the videos, and for providing any necessary notices or obtaining consent from individuals
appearing in the videos.
13. Warranties & Disclaimers
I will provide the Services with reasonable skill and care and in line with commonly accepted professional
standards for small creative service providers.
I do not guarantee any specific number of views, clicks, enquiries, new clients, search ranking, or financial
return.
You acknowledge that marketing performance depends on many factors beyond my control, including your wider
marketing activity, pricing, reputation and local competition.
Except as expressly set out in these Terms, all other warranties are excluded to the fullest extent permitted
by law.
14. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud
or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
Subject to the above, my total liability to you for any claim arising out of or in connection with the Services
and these Terms is limited to the total fees actually paid by you for the Project giving rise to the claim.
I will not be liable for any loss of profit, revenue, sales or business, loss of anticipated savings, loss of
reputation or goodwill, or any indirect or consequential loss or damage.
You remain responsible for reviewing and approving all clinical/medical content. I accept no liability for any
clinical inaccuracies or consequences arising from such content where you have approved it.
15. Cancellation, Rescheduling & Termination
If you decide to cancel the Project, the deposit is non-refundable as it covers initial planning and time
reserved for your Project. Work completed beyond the deposit value may be charged on a pro-rata basis.
If you wish to reschedule or delay the Project significantly, I will do my best to accommodate new dates but
cannot guarantee specific availability. If the Project is paused for more than 60 days without clear
communication, I may treat it as cancelled, and additional fees may apply to restart.
I may terminate or suspend the Project if you fail to pay invoices on time, repeatedly fail to provide
information or feedback, there is a breakdown of trust or inappropriate behaviour, or continuing would risk
my business or legal position. In such cases, you will be invoiced for all work completed to date.
16. Force Majeure
I will not be liable for any delay or failure to perform my obligations where such delay or failure is caused
by events beyond my reasonable control, including but not limited to illness, technical failures, internet
outages, strikes, government restrictions, or extreme weather events. If such an event occurs, I will inform
you as soon as reasonably possible and we will work together to agree an alternative plan or schedule.
17. Non-Solicitation
You agree not to knowingly solicit or hire any subcontractors or freelance collaborators I introduce to you
for separate work, without my prior written consent, for a period of 12 months after the end of the Project.
18. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and
construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any such dispute or claim.
19. Changes to These Terms
I may update these Terms from time to time. The version in force at the time you confirm a Project or pay a
deposit will apply to that Project, unless we explicitly agree otherwise in writing.
